Not everyone has made big tack purchases in the last decade, we get it, and a LOT has changed! If you are saddle shopping, we recommend a budget of $3000-5000. We have worked really hard to find you a variety of super premium saddle brands that offer maximum value without compromising quality, options, or most of all, FIT. We have 0% Financing as well as long terms with interest to help you get into the saddle that is best for you both without worry.
Below that budget, your options get increasingly more limited, and in some circumstances not an option at all. We do have a few quality brands that are below $3000, but prepare to be pleasantly surprised instead of hedging we can make one of our more economical brands work for you. Above $5000 that is where most of the saddle market is actually priced these days, so be prepared to spend that if your plan to shop new elsewhere.
Your Expert Fitter does not actually stock or take in used saddles because of some changing trends in how trees are being treated and the safety risks they pose on your investment and your horse. 1 in 13 used saddles presented to YEF for inspection in 2022 were found to have broken or otherwise unsafe trees. Our new saddles cost the same (or less!) than most used saddles so there's no reason to risk the used market when you shop with us.
